Dr. Kumar is a lifelong learner, committed to keeping abreast of the latest technology in dentistry in order to provide his patients with optimal dental health. He has worked all over California for many years prior to opening Marsh Creek Dental in Brentwood, California.
Dr. Kumar's Approach
Dr. Kumar practices with a focus on patient-centered dental care, including a thorough diagnosis and explanation of treatment options. He is very passionate about instilling positive oral health habits.
Dr. Kumar received his dental education and graduated with a Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the prestigious University of the Pacific, School of Dentistry in San Francisco. Dr. Kumar’s vision is to provide our patients with a dental experience that will promote a lifelong relationship built on trust, confidence, quality of work, and exceptional patient care. Dr. Kumar truly enjoys dentistry, especially the opportunity to work with his hands and improve peoples' smiles. He shares that the feeling of helping a patient chew, eat and smile again is incredible.
Dr. Kumar is committed to helping patients overcome their dental phobia. You may even hear him break into song to make his office a more comfortable and happy place. He especially enjoys helping his patients feel a sense of empowerment and confidence with the results of their dental procedures. As a result, people’s lives are affected in a positive manner in their work and personal lives.
When not at work, Dr. Kumar spends his time singing and playing the guitar, visiting local beaches with his daughter, volunteering at CDA Cares and being involved in the local community doing outreach. He currently resides in the Tri-Valley area and enjoys spending his free time with his wife and 11-year-old daughter.
